Blizzard 2009
Our first Wisconsin blizzard of the winter! Giv. Doyle even declared the state of WI in a state of emergency! All schools are closed. The roads fortunately are not too bad but both Greg and I stayed home this morning. We will see what happens in a few hours to determine if we go to our afternoon obligations. Its the perfect wet packy snow so I hope to make a snowman at some point today.

Burrhus The Cat
Meet the new and unexpected member of our family. Our cousin dropped him off for us, thought we would like him. And well...we did. He was a stray we think because he is so skinny. Going to the vet next week. Hopefully he is healthy because we do want to keep him. He is very easy going and very receptive to us, follows us everywhere! He loves to snuggle, never leaves my lap!
We have decided to name him Burrhus after the amazing B.F. Skinner (Burrhus Frederick), father of behavioral analysis, which I do everyday at work, and I have been busy studying for my theories of personality test so the cat got the name then.

Halloween 2009
Happy Halloween!
Greg and I drove first to New Glarus, WI to check out the brewery. They city is great, it is a little Switzerland, we felt like we were in Europe again.
Then we continued on St. Louis where we got to see Dad, Penny, Amanda, Greg and Gavin! We dressed up for Halloween and went Trick or Treating. We played lots of games and relaxed in the nice weather.

Construction Updates
Hey everyone -
so the apartment is being remodeled and right now we are working on the kitchen. You can see in the pics that we got new wood flooring and of course, the half bath.
I think I need to switch career fields - I painted the bath and kitchen and dining room all day today and I loved it. I am going to become a professional house painter - I work for cheap so call me up if you need a painter. :-)
Next comes the bathroom toilet, the kitchen cabinets and oh how I cannot wait, the kitchen sink! I am so tired of washing dishes in bins in the bathrub. And then even more exciting, a dishwasher will come. That will be a most wonderful day.
Enjoy!
